At Trident Seafoods, when we say we’re “Anchored in Alaska,” we mean it.

The company has been recognized by Alaska Business magazine as one of the top five employers in the state. The rankings, which appear in the magazine’s “Corporate 100” issue (April 2025), shine a spotlight on “companies with an Alaska business license ranked by their number of Alaskan employees.”

Trident proudly employs more than 3,641 employees throughout Alaska. As the only seafood processor to make the list, the company’s Alaska workforce – which includes onshore and at-sea processors, skilled trades professionals, fishermen and support staff – works across Trident’s 10 Alaska-based shore plants and support operations, as well as 27 company-owned vessels. They’re crucial to ensuring the company brings the freshest and healthiest wild-caught seafood from the pristine waters of Alaska to customers and families worldwide.
