Tulip® Pink salmon is packed from fresh, prime-quality fish caught in the clear, cold marine waters of Alaska. They add a festive accent to any entrée or appetizer.
It's a wonderful addition to a salad, sandwich or any hot recipe.
Our canned salmon has a recommended shelf life of five years. As long as the can has been stored properly (in a cool, dry area with moderate temperature) and the can remains intact (no introduction of oxygen, no dents, no bulging, no rust, etc.), you can eat the canned salmon up to four years past the “Best By” date, printed on either the lid or bottom of the can. With that being said, after the “Best By” date, you may notice a decline in the quality. If your can is five years or more past the “Best By” date, we recommend discarding it, as a cautionary measure, since it would then be 10 years or more past its production date.
