Cook from frozen. Cook times may vary by appliance. Cod is fully cooked when the internal temperature reaches 145°F. For best texture, avoid cooking beyond 145°F.

Air Fryer – Butter Side Up (Recommended)

Place cod fillets butter side up in a foil tray with sides that fits inside the air fryer basket to catch all melted butter and prevent dripping. Select the Bake setting and cook at 325°F for 14–17 minutes.

Conventional Oven – Butter Side Up

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place cod fillets butter side up in a baking pan with high sides to catch melted butter. Bake for 15–18 minutes.

Stovetop (Pan-Fry) – Butter Side Down

Preheat a nonstick pan over medium low heat. Place cod fillets in the pan butter side down and cook for 10–15 minutes, flipping occasionally for even cooking.

The flavorful melted caper butter left in the tray is delicious drizzled over roasted vegetables or tossed with pasta for an easy side dish.
