Wild Alaska Cod is a large lean whitefish that’s an excellent source of high quality protein. With a sweet flavor, delicate texture and a large melt-in-your-mouth flake, it’s perfectly suited for a wide variety of menu applications.

Works well in all cuisines ranging from Asian to American to Mexican to Italian and beyond. Makes for an excellent flavor vessel or as a stand-alone center-of-plate treat.

KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO USE

Conventional oven

Season Cod or dip in seasoned bread crumbs. Place in greased baking dish and bake at 400°F.

Pan-Fry

Dip Cod in seasoned flour. Saute in oil, butter or margarine over medium heat, lightly brown on both sides.

Deep Fry

Dip serving-size Cod pieces into batter and/or seasoned crumbs. DEEP FRY at 350°F until outside is golden brown and Cod flakes easily with fork.

Cooking times and temperatures may vary substantially. Internal temperature should be at least 145°F. We strive to produce a fully “boneless” product. As with all fish, however, occasional bones may still be present.

Allow 10 minutes of cooking time per inch of thickness on thawed product; 20 minutes per inch on frozen product. Oven temperatures vary. Microwave cooking is not recommended.

Keep frozen at 0°F or below until ready to use

Thaw before cooking. Do not cook from frozen. To thaw, open the package, and refrigerate 8-10 hours
