Wild Alaska Cod Loin Fillets Portions, a large lean whitefish that’s an excellent source of high-quality protein. With a sweet flavor, delicate texture, and a large melt-in-your-mouth flake, it’s perfectly suited for a wide variety of menu applications.

KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO USE

Conventional Oven

Season Cod or dip in seasoned bread crumbs. Place in a greased baking dish and bake at 400 °F.

Pan Fry

Dip Cod in seasoned flour. Saute in oil, butter, or margarine over medium heat, lightly brown on both sides.

Deep Fry

Dip serving-size Cod pieces into batter and/or seasoned crumbs. Deep fry at 350 °F until the outside is golden brown and the Cod flakes easily with a fork.

Cooking times and temperatures may vary substantially. Internal temperature should be at least 145°F. We strive to produce a fully “boneless” product. As with all fish, however, occasional bones may still be present.

Keep frozen at 0°F or below until ready to use

Remove the product from all packaging and place on tray or plate. Loosely cover and thaw under refrigeration. Keep thawed product refrigerated and use within 2 to 3 days. Allow 10 minutes of cook time per inch of thickness on thawed; and 20 minutes per inch on frozen.
